Cambridge international program in Vietnam
Cambridge programs not only focus in-depth on theoretical subjects, but also focus on training study skills and also social skills – indispensable luggage for children for the future. Cambridge International program is unique because it encourages students to develop critical thinking skills, self-directed problem solving and the ability to study independently.
In 2018, Department of Education and Training of Vietnam launched a pilot project, implementing IGCSE dual degree program at 7 public schools including: Chu Van An Secondary School, Thanh Xuan Secondary School, Cau Giay Secondary School, Nghia Tan Secondary School, Ngo Si Lien Secondary School and grade 6 for Gifted Hanoi – Amsterdam. Some private schools are also currently applying Cambridge IGCSE program.
The dual degree Program is a combination of the Vietnamese national curriculum and the Cambridge International program. Compulsory subjects of the dual degree system include: English, Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), ICT (Information & Communication Technology) and other optional subjects.
As of 2020, IGCSE certificate has been officially recognized by many famous universities in Vietnam including:

- RMIT University
- British University Vietnam (BUV)
- FPT university
- Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST)
- Hanoi Academy of Education Management
