IA – With the current development and global integration, the demand for skilled human resources is increasing. Therefore, schools have expanded and taught an international curriculum, but still many people do not have a clear understanding of what is the international program?
International programs are those where the quality of training and qualifications will be recognized globally. There are independent international programs such as IB or Cambridge or the program of advanced countries, mainly from countries using mainly English language such as UK, Australia, USA, Canada…
Some popular international programs
Among those programs, there is IB (International Baccalaureate), which is the most popular in the present, and is considered as the best preparation for university. This program lasts two years, and students are required to take 6 subjects of 6 different fields such as Language and Literature, Language Acquisition, Individuals and Societies, Sciences, Mathematics, and Arts.

IGCSE is one of the answers to what is the international program, which is recognized globally for students from 14 to 16 years old, and tested under Cambridge International Exams (CIE). It is a degree based on individual subjects, meaning one receives an IGCSE qualification for each subject. The scale of letter ranges from A* to G, where G is the lowest.
In A-level program, students will choose and study specialized in 3 strong subjects, equivalent to the grade 11-12 program in Vietnam. This program is divided into 2 levels, year 1 includes 4-6 subjects, called AS Level, then in year 2 students select 3 out of the subjects of year 1 to keep studying and take exams, called A-level. If you intend to study abroad in the UK, this is a smart choice, because most universities in the UK recruit students based on the A-level exam results.

AP is a quite intensive equivalent to 1 year university program. Students will study each subject for 1 year. Normally, students will choose 3 subjects related to their subject that they choose to take university entrance exams. AP aims to help students earn college credit while still in high school.
